Ganderbal, Sep 23 (KNO): Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo Tuesday inaugurated a Mega Health Camp at District Hospital Ganderbal under the Sewa Parv programme and Swasth Naari Sashakt Parivaar Abhiyaan. The camp was inaugurated in the presence of Secretary, Health & Medical Education, Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah; Secretary, Rural Development Department (RDD), Aijaz Asad; Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg; Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore along with other officers from district administration. As part of the Abhiyaan, a wide range of healthcare services were made available to the public. Senior citizens above 70 years of age were issued Golden Health Cards under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, enabling them to access free and quality healthcare services. The camp also featured Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) screenings, general medical check-ups, Tuberculosis (TB) screenings, and mental health stalls, benefiting large sections of the community. On the occasion, the Chief Secretary also reviewed several ongoing health infrastructure projects in the district, including the 50-bed Critical Care Block and the District Integrated Public Health Care Lab, a state-of-the-art facility along with block-level laboratories which will function on a hub and spoke model. He also inspected the Mortuary Building, Administrative Building and Public Canteen being constructed under UT Capex Scheme. Later, the Chief Secretary visited the Kheer Bhawani Temple at Tulmulla to review the ongoing Yatri Niwas project. He inspected the progress of the work and received a detailed briefing on timelines for the remaining components. Secretary, RDD, Aijaz Asad, apprised him of the current status and pace of execution. Emphasizing the significance of the project, the Chief Secretary stressed the importance of adhering to approved timelines and maintaining high-quality standards.
